This week, my daughter’s barn was broken into and horse tack along with her handmade saddle were stolen. Irreplaceable. The memories, the horse shows, the ribbons, the bits, the bridles, the special things we bought for her birthdays and Christmases to support her love of horses, a love that started when my sister took Carly on her first ride when she was three years old. The lessons, the horse shows, the many hours she worked summers and after school to ride and eventually buy her quarter horse Neesie. Nothing else was taken, these thieves knew what they were looking for, and in a low crime area. What a sad, sad thing to happen. If someone was in need, we would help them and we will continue to help folks. We all go through rough times, there is no way currently we could even try to go and purchase the things that were taken. My husband is job hunting, Carly is planning her wedding, we’re paying some college loans, insurance costs, medical bills, it’s life. I’m not asking for sympathy, we will get through it. I am asking you to reach out to me if you hear of something in the Southeast Guilford area, Craig’s list, pawn shop, or FB marketplace. Or you may contact Guilford County Sheriff A. Johnson 336-641-2680. Irreplaceable, grateful for memories we have and that they didn’t steal Neesie. A sad time for our family, thanks for listening and I pray this doesn’t happen to you. #crimestoppers #julianbreakins #horsetack #stealingiswrong #karma
